REFUND & RETURNS POLICY

At Thomas Lapidary Machines, we take pride in providing high-quality lapidary equipment, machinery, accessories, and replacement parts. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are committed to working with you to resolve the issue.

 

 

30-Day Return Policy

Our return policy lasts 30 days from the date your order is delivered. If more than 30 days have passed since delivery, we are unable to offer a refund or exchange.

Return Eligibility

To qualify for a return, your item must:

• Be unused and in the same condition in which it was received.
• Be returned in its original packaging.
• Include all original accessories, manuals, hardware, and components.
• Be accompanied by proof of purchase or your order number.

Items showing signs of installation, modification, misuse, or excessive wear may not be eligible for a refund.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

• Custom-built or special-order lapidary machines.
• Personalized or modified equipment.
• Electrical components that have been installed or used.
• Abrasive wheels, grinding discs, polishing compounds, and consumable supplies that have been opened or used.
• Clearance, liquidation, or final-sale merchandise.
• Digital manuals, downloadable software, or technical documentation.

Damaged or Defective Equipment

If your machine, accessory, or replacement part arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery. Photographs of the product and packaging may be required to process a claim.

Upon verification, we may provide a replacement, repair, store credit, or full refund at our discretion.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted for:

• Equipment returned with missing parts or accessories.
• Products returned with minor wear or signs of handling.
• Machinery requiring inspection, cleaning, or refurbishment before resale.
• Returns received after the standard return period but approved as an exception.

Refund Process

Once your returned item is received and inspected, you will receive an email notification confirming receipt of the return.

If approved, your refund will be issued to the original method of payment within 5–10 business days. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund after approval:

• Verify your bank account or payment method.
• Contact your credit card provider, as refunds may take additional time to appear.
• Contact your bank regarding pending transactions.

Exchanges

We replace items only when they are defective, damaged during shipment, or incorrectly supplied. If you require an exchange for the same item, please contact our support team before returning the product.

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the return is the result of our error or a verified product defect.

Original shipping charges are non-refundable. If a refund is approved, return shipping costs may be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.

For large machinery returns, customers are encouraged to use insured and trackable freight services. Thomas Lapidary Machines is not responsible for returns lost or damaged during transit.

Order Cancellations

Orders may be canceled for a full refund before shipment. Once an order has shipped, it becomes subject to this Return & Refund Policy.
